6lbs. tart apples, peeled,quartered ...Apple Butter<br /><br />6lbs. tart apples, peeled,quartered and cored<br />cook these with a little water(maybe 1/4 cup)til soft. Process til smooth. <br /><br />Add: 2 to 3 cups sugar depending on how sweet you like things<br /><br />1 1/2 tsp.cinnamon<br />1/2 tsp.ground cloves<br /><br />Stir all together and put in crockpot with no lid on low for 8 to 10 hours until it is nice and thick. Enjoy on fresh biscuits or toast.
